FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much should I expect to pay for custom designed wedding invitations?
Prices start at $500 for the most basic invitations. And the average couple spends $1,500 on their wedding invitations, excluding a Save the Date.
When should I book you for custom invitation design?
Please reach out 6 months to a year prior to your wedding to ensure we can fit you in our design calendar.
Do you require a down-payment or a deposit?
Yes, you are required to pay a non-refundable retainer for all projects ($100 or 50% of the estimated total, whichever is greater). This locks in your place on our design calendar to book with Simply Steph Ko. This payment can be paid in installments on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to ask me about this option.
What does it mean that you are both a designer and a calligrapher?
As both a designer and a calligrapher, I can offer you services as a "one stop shop" for your wedding invitations. Instead of finding an invitation designer, sourcing envelopes, and hiring your own calligrapher, I can do it all for you.
And the best part is that the calligraphy script on your invitations will match your envelopes for an impressive and cohesive invitation suite when it is all put together!
