STEPHANIE KO CHEUNG
A calligrapher and illustrator specializing in calligraphy and stationery design for the refined individual who values simplicity and joy.
MEET STEPHANIE
Stephanie is an Ottawa girl, born and raised. By day, she is an epidemiologist in the federal government (that's just a fancy way to say a health data nerd). But in her off time, you will find her working on custom calligraphy commissions, turning her artwork into greeting cards and art prints, or teaching in-person classes around the city to share her creative passion. She began obsessively lettering in the margins of her notes in university, and hasn't stopped since.
I wear the same necklace every day, am an ice cream addict, drink coffee to survive, and love life stories. Let's have coffee and exchange stories, I'd love to hear yours. In the meantime, here are some quick facts about me..
FAVOURITE DRINK: flat white
TRAVEL BUCKET LIST: Italy, Greece, New Zealand
HOBBIES: trying new restaurants, biking, and Netflix
FAVOURITE QUOTE: "A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle."

CALLIGRAPHY, GREETING CARDS & WORKSHOPS
I offer custom calligraphy design, stationery, and signage for weddings, events or businesses.
I also make greeting cards to turn everyday occasions into special ones.
And I teach modern calligraphy workshops. Workshops are run in partnership with local businesses, or I can meet you in your own space.
I am based in Ottawa, Canada, and am available for work worldwide.
INSPIRATION
My inspiration comes from the warm fuzzy feeling of a simple love note. My card designs are sweet and simple with an eye-catching design, while it’s the note inside (your note) that captures hearts. Believe me, no matter what you write inside, when it's personal, it's meaningful. Let me catch your eye, and you can be the one to capture hearts. I’m all for teamwork, so this is why my cards are all blank inside. I love creating all-occasion (or multi-occasion) cards and seeing how others put them to good use, encouraging friends and family. This stellar combination will have everyone feeling all warm and fuzzy!
